The people of Tennessee aren’t being heard in the State House. I plan to change that. But I need your help.
For most of my life as a Tennessean, whether Tennessee was “red” or “blue,” the governance was moderate and the people’s work got done. That’s not true anymore.
Tennessee’s governing party no longer responds to the people of Tennessee.
It responds to special interests with extreme agendas or to wealthy donors enriching themselves at our expense. Those of us who want what they want are in luck. Those of us who don’t—which is most of us, according to polls—are getting it anyway.
That’s how we got a total abortion ban most of us consider draconian, a “permitless carry” law most of us consider reckless, and an expensive, unproven school voucher program most of us didn’t ask for and don’t want.
Most Tennesseans have no representation in Nashville, especially in the State House, where there’s little transparency and limited access to public proceedings.
On March 7, I’ll launch my State House campaign to represent the people of District 26 in Hamilton County. I need your support now so I can start off strong.
You can donate, sign up to volunteer, or request a yard sign. Please join my fight even if you don’t live in my district. Another voice for the people in the State House is a win for all Tennesseans.
